1ST Class Engineer for the CityPlex Towers

Responsible for the proper, safe, and efficient operation of the Engine Room and air-conditioning equipment provided for the supply of hot water and steam and for heating, ventilating and air-conditioning of the CityPlex towers. Requires City of Tulsa First Class Stationary Engineer License (unlimited); and a minimum of four (4) years working experience in similar working capacity. Rate of pay will be $20.00/hour with shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shifts. This open position is currently scheduled for the Rotating shift.

Will consider an Apprentice Engineer. Requires three years experience operating building related equipment such as chillers above 150 ton and high pressure steam boilers. Rate of pay starts at $15.00 per hour with shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. For this position the pay rate may go higher depending on experience.

To assist in the safe and efficient operation, repair, and maintenance of all equipment within CityPlex complexes. Maintain an attitude of cooperation between tenants and department employees and to respond to complaints and troubleshoot accurate solutions to problems. Assigned duties will take place in several different locations in the CityPlex Towers.

High School diploma or GED is preferred. Requires 3 – 5 years of specific experience with mechanical equipment. Must work well with the public. Prefer at least one of the following licenses: Third Class, First Class Limited or Specialty in Refrigeration, Steam, Plumbing or Electrical.
